The Second Language and Culture Exposure for Children & Youth (SLCECY) project offers research-to-practice resources for educators, families, and the community at large to support them in engaging children in second language and culture activities in early childhood settings.
SLCECY Strands consist of second language and culture exposure research to practice multimedia materials to be used for professional development purposes. Each Strand contains lessons and resources for a variety of professional development activities.
SLCECY Classroom Assets consist of multimedia resources that can be used in an early childhood education setting to engage children in second language and culture activities. Many of these resources also support research to practice activities found under the Professional Development Strands.
